Background
This project followed a human-centred design thinking approach to explore and address challenges in pet care management. Through iterative research, ideation, prototyping, and testing, the process enabled a deeper understanding of user behaviours, needs, and system-level gaps.

Aim & Objective
The primary aim of the project was to design a unified system that supports holistic pet care management, reduces fragmentation, and enhances decision-making through insight generation. Based on the outcomes of the design process and usability testing, the project successfully addressed several of these objectives. The development of a centralised platform for managing health records, routines, and tasks demonstrates progress towards reducing fragmentation. Additionally, the inclusion of shared task systems and caregiver coordination features directly responds to the identified need for improved collaboration in multi-user environments. The integration of AI-assisted features represents an initial step towards enabling insight-driven decision-making. However, findings from usability testing indicate that further work is required to strengthen trust, transparency, and usability in this area. While the project achieved its objective of proposing a cohesive and user-centred system, certain aspects, such as advanced AI functionality, system scalability, and fully refined interaction design, remain at a conceptual or medium-fidelity stage.
